Prove Communications Terms and Conditions

Definitions

Where appropriate the expression "mobile" shall mean the entire radio installation and any part thereof excluding aerials. "Base station" or "fixed station" shall mean the entire land based receiver/transmitter installation but not including any aerial masts towers or feeder cables. "Hire Service" shall mean the hire by us of Radio Communications Equipment and accessories. "Radio Communication Equipment" shall mean any apparatus supplied by us to you in connection with the provisions of any Services hired or supplied to you under this agreement or as replaced by us from time to time to provide the Service including any software, cables or other Equipment which is our agents or suppliers property. "Service" unless otherwise defined shall mean the services, which you have ordered and which are either described overleaf. "We" and "us" "the Company" and "Provecomms" have the same meaning as P.R.O.V.E Communications Ltd. "You" and "your" have the same meaning as Customer. The singular includes the plural and vice versa.

a) We operate on a strict payment with order basis. No COD. All prices exclude VAT

b) By placing an order on this website with P.R.O.V.E Communications Limited, you agree to and fully understand our terms and conditions.

c) Risk in goods supplied by P.R.O.V.E Communications limited shall pass to you upon delivery.

Privacy Policy

We will collect personal information about you to enable us to process your order and to assist where necessary with support and service issues. We will not store financial details (credit or debit card details). Your privacy is a priority; your personal details will not be passed onto any third parties without your consent.

Delivery Charges UK Postage & Packing

Delivery Charges are as follows

Orders over £200: Free delivery

Orders under £200: from £17.00 + VAT

Delivery is restricted to UK Mainland only. We do not deliver outside of the UK (including Northern & Southern Ireland). We deliver products via Royal Mail or Prove Communications personnel. Deliveries arrive between 9:00am and 6.00pm normally 2-5 working business days after despatch. All orders are subject to a flat rate charge of £17.00 for postage & packing. We reserve the right to make a surcharge for heavy goods or non-standard methods. Whilst we make every effort to ensure adequate stock levels are kept at all times we suggest allowing a minimum of 7 working days to process and despatch your order.

  • Risk in goods supplied by P.R.O.V.E Communications limited shall pass to you upon delivery.

Service Coverage

We offer Installation, Repair, Maintenance, and Hire services currently up to 110 miles from our London Office and are continually expanding. With engineers based around the M25 north, south, east and west, we pass on the cost savings to our customers.

Safety

Our engineers are equipped with steel toe cap boots, high-viz jackets and carry first aid packs in their vehicles. Prove Vehicles are self equipped with on board charging facility for drills, lamps etc

Requesting a service…

  • When you select a service using our online booking form, one of our operators will contact you during our normal working hours (9.00 - 17-00 Monday - Friday) to discuss your Installation, Repair, Maintenance and Hire options. During this process you have the option to cancel and receive a full, no quibble, refund for the selected service.
  • You will be sent a confirmation e-mail and offered a txt message service to inform you 24hrs before your product and/or accessories are despatched and or the date of which an engineer will attend the location requested to perform the service/s you requested.

Important- Some vehicles require an (SOT) lead to correctly interface with hands-free kit and music radio using your existing wiring harness. Vehicles requiring the SOT lead will incur an additional charge of £24.00. Vehicles with amplified audio systems may incur further charges. Please check your phone compatibility with this product. Vehicles requiring camera installation or repair services, please allow for Our service operator will guide you through all the requirements and check that your chosen hands-free kit is compatible with your music system.

On Site Installation/Repairs

Secured using screws or non drill bracket (no holes), adhesive pads (Suitable for fleet, leased vehicles) or a mounting bracket provided. An external aerial will be required for Two-Way Radio products. For 24v vehicles, a converter to reduce the voltage to 12v may be required. Non-bluetooth hands-free kits require an external aerial fitted to provide improved reception. Hands-free kits supplied with ISO terminals, when connected to the music radio will route incoming or outgoing calls to the music radio speakers.

  • For Commercial Hands-free phone- please allow 1 to 3 hrs
  • For Commercial Reversing Camera- please allow 2 to 4 hrs
  • For Commercial Two-Way Radio- please allow 1.5 to 2.5hrs

We accept Personal & Company Cheques drawn on a UK Bank, Debit or Credit cards. All cheques etc-made payable to: P.R.O.V.E Communications Limited. Goods cannot be released until paid for in full. Photocopies or faxes of cheques are not accepted as cleared funds. We reserve the right to wait for cheque/credit card clearance before despatch.

Order Processing and Despatch

We will send out orders for in-stock goods ordered the next business day. All orders placed for in-stock goods over weekends and bank holidays will be despatched the next available business day and should arrive in 2-5 business days. The equipment, parts or accessories to be installed are normally sent direct to the specified delivery address (normally the address where the installation/service is to take place). If no specific address is provided, then the equipment will be shipped to the customer's credit card address. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee and or a call out fee if the engineer arrives on site and you the customer have failed to inform us by text 07960 481286 or by calling 0208 9179137. It is the customer's responsibility to inform us if you have not received delivery of all goods at least 24hrs before the scheduled installation or service time. The customer is also responsible for ensuring that all goods are made available to the prove engineer at the address where the service/installation is to take place.

If your order contains any out-of-stock items then we will deliver your entire order when all the goods are available. We will get the goods for you as soon as we can, normally within 7 business days. If we anticipate there being a longer delay then we will contact you and give you a delivery estimate. We can't guarantee the delivery schedules from our suppliers, but we do guarantee to keep you informed as best we can. We will never charge your credit/debit card for goods until we despatch them. If upon delivery you find any discrepancies with the goods, i.e. faulty, goods don't match our description or goods are not fit for purpose, then, please email us straight away at admin@provecomms.co.uk

Returns Policies:

If you wish to return or exchange a product, please email us at admin@provecomms.co.uk stating your reason for the return. We will issue a returns authorisation number (RAN) so that we can track the return properly. Upon delivery of the returned goods from you, we will assess your goods and may authorise an exchange, full or part refund. Goods that require a refund must be returned to us unopened (except if faulty), undamaged, and in its original packaging. Please write the RAN number clearly on the packaging before sending any items back to us. Please return any items to be refunded or exchanged to us within 14 days. You will have to pay to return the goods to us via an appropriate delivery service. All unwanted goods shall be subject to a 25% restocking charge.

Please Note: No refunds are possible on delivery charges, software, service or labour charges. Bespoke items ordered in specifically cannot be refunded. By purchasing from prove communications Ltd (provecomms) you automatically agree to be bound by our terms and conditions of business

Cancellation of Service

We require a minimum of 72 hours notice (Mon-Fri) excluding bank holidays if you wish to cancel an appointment or change the address where the engineer will attend. If The equipment, parts or accessories are not on site when the engineer arrives and we have not been informed by the time stated above, we reserve the right to charge a fee if we have not received notice by text 07960 481286 or by calling 0208 9179137.

Pre and Post Checks

Our engineer will check the vehicle before and after any work carried out. Any discrepancies will be noted. Our engineer will ask you to sign a completed job sheet. Any faults, issues must be raised with the engineer and if unresolved documented on the engineer job sheet. Any claims thereafter are not liable. It is important that the customer is available to inspect the vehicle upon completion. Where the customer is unavailable, the engineer or prove Comms will accept no liability for the vehicle and incorrect functionality of the equipment. Therefore any future warranty or call out issues will be charged at our normal rates. This is because we were unable to check and fix any problems at the time the service carried out.

Location

Parking with suitable shelter is required for our engineer to carry out a safe service on the vehicle in case of poor weather conditions. If unsuitable shelter has been provided the engineer can postpone or re-arrange the installation. This is solely at the engineer's discretion. You may be charged a fee to re-arrange if the engineer deems the area to be unsafe to carry out a service or continue a service. This is to protect the customer vehicle and to also ensure a safe working environment for our engineer. If the site/delivery address where our engineer will carry out the service is with the congestion charge zone, then the current charge applicable will be charged and vat will be added accordingly. Due to health and safety issues, we cannot provide any services to customer vehicles on roadside parking in busy areas, public car parks.

Special Notes

  • a) Where monies are paid or payable in respect of Services to be performed or for goods to be supplied during a specific period then such period shall be non-cancellable by the customer and all charges payable in respect of such period shall be deemed to be payable in respect of each and every part of such period and shall not be refundable in the event of purported termination of an agreement prior to the expiration of such period. Any sums that have not been paid by the Customer for the whole of such period shall remain due and owing until paid and shall be liable to interest until settled in full.
  • b) Risk in goods supplied by P.R.O.V.E Communications limited shall pass to you upon delivery.
  • c) EVEN THOUGH RISK HAS PASSED, PROPERTY IN GOODS SHALL NOT PASS UNTIL CLEARED FUNDS ARE RECEIVED IN FULL TO P.R.O.V.E COMMUNICATIONS LIMITED FOR ALL GOODS AND NO OTHER AMOUNTS ARE OUTSTANDING FROM YOU TO US IN RESPECT OF OTHER GOODS OR SERVICES SUPPLIED BY US.
